Take 1 capsule with a glass of water each day. Do not exceed this dose. Do not break, crush or chew. Taking Nexium once or twice a day ( spaced 14 hours ) can increase the risk of stomach bleeding. Stay ineal to avoid rebound side effects. Take with food at about the same time every day ( approximately 3 hours). Keep taking for the full effect. Do not take more than 1 capsule in 24 hours. Swallow the capsule whole with a drink of water. Nexium is not for use in children under 18 years of age except in the case of esomeprazole allergy. Esomeprazole should be used with caution in the elderly since they may be more sensitive to the effects of esomeprazole.
In general, the patients treated with Nexium for 3 months or more have been observed to have a decreased appetite, weight loss, worsening of menstrual irregularities, increased risk of lagging menstrual periods, bone pain, pain in upper right lower stomach, pain on lower right lower abdominal pain or tenderness, and rash. For the prevention of lice, use of the capsule should be discontinued before the first dose of Nexium. The patient should keep taking the capsule for the full period of the 3-month treatment. Do not stop taking the capsule, even if the symptoms disappear. If you think you are taking too much of this product talk to your doctor. The capsule contents are not intended to cover all possible uses. Always seek medical attention for medical conditions that may occur with symptoms. Nexium is a prescription drug and is not intended to replace orivalent methods of obtaining and using all forms of male sexual function.

The recommended dose is one tablet a day. - Do not take more than this recommended dose of one tablet (20 mg) a day, even if you don't feel an improvement immediately. - You may need to take Nexium 24HR for a few days before experiencing the full effect. - Nexium 24HR should be taken for at least 7 days and up to 14 days. - Tell your pharmacist or doctor if you do not feel better while taking Nexium 24HR. If symptoms persist or recur within 2 weeks of completing the course, consult your doctor. Further examination may be required.
